Ingredients:
2 medium shallots, chopped
6 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
4 Tablespoons water
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon pure maple syrup
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 Tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
8 cups mixed baby greens
4 Tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted
½ cup red onion, sliced
2 cups strawberries sliced
Directions:
Process first 6 ingredients in a blender until blended. Stir in basil.
Combine greens and remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss gently. Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings
