Walnut-Maple Oatmeal

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked steel cut oats

1 Tablespoon butter

2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup

2 Tablespoons walnuts, chopped (option: toast walnuts in a 350F oven approximately 5 minutes)

Directions:

In a microwave safe bowl, reheat oats. Dollop each bowl with ½ Tablespoon butter, 1 Tablespoon pure maple syrup, and 1 Tablespoon walnuts. Stir to combine and enjoy!

    This was so easy and so delicious!!! I did add some ground cinnamon to the steel cut oats while I slow cooked them over night (1 cup of uncooked steel cut oats to 3 cups of water in a slow cooker on low overnight)… AMAZING!!!
