Our Philosophy
Real.Easy.Meals. is a great tool that can be used in preparing healthy, wholesome meals. It is not a diet, rather a lifestyle change. We take all the work out of planning and preparing the meal plans and shopping lists, but through preparation and cooking of the Real.Easy.Meals. recipes, you can learn which food items are beneficial to health, and which foods to avoid. This hands on approach is essential in any lifestyle change.
Our philosophy about food is simple…we should eat a variety of fresh, whole foods in their most natural state. This includes lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices. Whole grains such as quinoa, brown rice, and barley are good accompaniments to meals, but should not be eaten in large quantities or as the main component of a meal. Most dairy is avoided completely, with the exception of plain unsweetened Greek-style yogurt which contains a great amount of natural probiotics.
It is our goal to help guide those who desire to eat a healthy diet by assisting with some of the planning. Eating healthy should not be burdensome, it should be fun, fresh, and make you feel good.
