Italian Sausage:

10 ounces raw, ground turkey

2¼ teaspoon fresh, chopped parsley

½ Tablespoon fresh, chopped oregano

¼ clove garlic, minced

½ Tablespoon fresh, chopped basil

1 Tablespoon fresh, chopped fennel leaves


1 Prepared Pizza Crust

3 Tablespoons tomato paste*

3 Tablespoons water

1 Tablespoon fresh, minced oregano

1 Tablespoon fresh, minced basil

1 garlic clove, minced

Dash of M’lis Sweet

½ small onion, thinly sliced

1 cup mixed bell peppers, thinly sliced


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Mix seasoning into ground turkey. Form seasoned meat into 1”
meatballs. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly coat with olive oil
Cook meatballs until evenly browned and cooked through.

Mix tomato paste, water, oregano, basil, garlic, and M’lis
sweet until blended well.

Spray a skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over
medium-high heat. Remove casing from turkey sausage and crumble meat. Cook in
skillet, stirring occasionally until meat is browned and cooked through. Remove
and keep warm.

In the same skillet wiped clean of excess oil, spray with
nonstick cooking spray and sauté onion and peppers for 2 to 3 minutes

Spread sauce over prepared crust, top with cooked sausage
and vegetables.

Bake for another 15 minutes to cook toppings.

*Freeze any remaining tomato paste in an ice cube tray in Tablespoon proportions. When frozen, pop the tomato cubes out of the tray and store in a freezer safe container for later use.
