Baked Pears with Maple Greek Yogurt and Walnuts

Ingredients:

1 firm pear (Bartlett or Anjou)
1/2 cup water
8 ounce container plain Greek yogurt
2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 Tablespoons chopped walnuts

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Cut the pear in half lengthwise, and remove core with a spoon. Place in an 8×8-inch baking pan, cut-sides down.

Pour water over pear. Cover pan loosely with foil and bake about 35 minutes or until tender.

In a bowl combine the  Greek yogurt and the maple syrup. Place  the warm pear in the bowl on top of the yogurt. Top with chopped walnuts.

Makes 1 serving
